The Open Source Framework for learning in Social Virtual (Reality) Environments.

History and Culture

Edorble was an early VR‑adjacent virtual world designed specifically for education, emphasizing ease of use for teachers and students. It helped legitimize the idea of spatial learning environments as alternatives to video‑based instruction. Its design influenced later WebXR classrooms and enterprise training spaces. Edorble contributed to the normalization of virtual worlds as practical tools for real‑world education.
