Kickstarter Thanks

A Big Thank You to Our Founding Supporters

The Virtual Worlds Museum™ extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our Kickstarter campaign. Your belief in this work is helping us document, preserve, and share the stories of virtual worlds, world builders, creators, and communities at a time when these spaces are changing faster than ever.

This support is more than a contribution to a video series. It is a contribution to cultural preservation, immersive education, and the long-term growth of the Virtual Worlds Museum™. Because of our Kickstarter supporters, we are able to continue developing the Spotlight Video Series, expanding our archive of interviews, and building Teleportal TV as a public channel for discovering the people and platforms shaping virtual culture.

Teleportal TV will serve as the home for our field reports, platform tours, creator interviews, preservation stories, and museum updates. As it grows, it will help more people understand why virtual worlds matter and why the communities behind them deserve to be seen, remembered, and celebrated.

Sponsor the Next Chapter

For organizations, platforms, studios, educators, and sponsors who did not get a chance to join the crowdfunder, there is still an opportunity to support the next phase of this work.

The Virtual Worlds Museum™ is actively seeking aligned sponsors and partners to help us expand the Spotlight Video Series, grow Teleportal TV, document more world builders, and preserve the stories of virtual platforms across WebXR, VR, games, apps, open source, Blockchain, and sunset worlds.

Sponsorship helps us film more interviews, produce new episodes, support post-production, archive cultural history, and make this work accessible to a wider public audience.

Your support can help us preserve the worlds, communities, and creative legacies shaping the future of immersive culture.
